Interesting take! It quite possibly could have gone that way and could have made it interesting in another way.

I hope you are well and thank you for watching the video all the way through.

Be good and smile.

Excellent set of shows from the fairwell '88 tour.

I love the line about 'learning English'.

Thanks for the cool Zappa tracks lately. I am still working the transfer thing but can't figure out how I did it before, but rest assured that you will be inendated with Zappa tracks someday soon.

Be well.

Gives a whole new meaning to playing with dolls, doesnt it?

BTW...I was having lunch in one of our many fine establishments and I heard this familiar voice coming from the radio in the kitchen...It sounds awesome, my friend. Simply awesome.

Ahhhhh, yes, SOUND does help very much so - especially with this one!

I am thinking that it will be just what it is. Maybe to be left alone entirely.

I hope you are well today and not forgetting to breathe or smile.

Be good and safe.

'Playing with dolls' could easily be appropriate in this scenario. If I were to draw the 'doll' parallel I would conform to the image of cutting them out from paper and then setting them on fire in order to light cigarettes off of their burning asses.

I hope you enjoyed this video!

So, so, so ... You actually heard some of the new album did you? Is it sounding true to form or washed out and sad? I am quite curious of the sound on the album and you have energized my interest. Thank you for that.

Nine more days.

Be well and smile and know that I will get over to the boy's site soon (I have been wrestling with bad sleep and a little bit of financial woe lately that is consuming my mind - lots of labour board and state tax board rubbish that is very stressful).

Always smile and be safe.

Godspeed.

Fear not, my lad. The sound is familiar yet fresh, if the single (Far Cry)is any indication. Neil is kicking some butt as always, and Geddy's voice is crystal clear.

RE, if you need prayer, call me. I had the most awesome experience tonight, about which I will be blogging later. My church has a Spanish service, and tonight they had a revival. As you know, Ive been trying to learn it, and I went for practice more than anything. But here's the thing. I understood totally!

I was so amazed. My vocabulary is pretty good, but my grammar is awful. So I dont practice much, but they were all so sweet and let me speak without being critical. It was great.

But understanding...thats huge. It was amazing. It was supernatural.

Anyway, I mean it about prayer. Call me and we'll hit one out of the park.

Meanwhile here is a video to cheer you and remind you of who is in control, and it aint the tax board, brother!

I know BC would love to get to know you! You are his kind of person.

Jenn -

Thanks for the offer for all. I am trying to take it all in stride and do so one day at a time. I have to call the labour board on my work and boss tomorrow as they owe me a day's worth of pay from March 18th and even though I have talked to them about it weekly it appears that no one is going to get me my measly 84 dollars. The labour board will make them pay it to me and also make them pay me a days pay for every day that I have worked since (up to 30 days). This will also spark a audit of the store by the labour board and the state tax board. All of this over 84 bucks! Unfortunately this will not sit well with any of the management and I can smell trouble which in the end will be termed retaliation which will then lead to lawyers and lawsuits and settlements. I would love to avoid all of it but money is money and I need the money that I have earned. Sad part is that the manager will probably lose his job, I will lose my raise and promotion and all will be very uncomfortable for a long while. I still am scanning the classifieds.

The Rush CD does sound awesome and I hope it is a good listen. I now findmyself counting down with you - what are we at 8 days or soemthing like that?

The video you sent is great but the rapid motion dancing running child is beyond creepy and kind of frightens me! On another video note, I thought you might like to know that Lady and I both love the unicorn video adn she has posted it on a message board that she frequents and everyone there thought it was a hoot as well.

I am extra tired today and physically beat as I am trying to diet and change eating habits which feels great but I am drained. I hope we can talk this week but alas, it may not be til Wednesday.

I am so happy that your Spanish language revival went well. I too am learning lots of Spanish at work adn actually watched some Spanish language television this mornign and I understood alot of it. Fun isn't it? Maybe we will have to try our phone conversation in Spanish.

Be well and smile.

Godspeed.

Thanks again for stopping by. I will make my way over to your blog right after I am done typing this response. I can not wait to see what the picture is.

I sincerely want to thank you for coming by and commenting this past few posts. Having a published author and creative individual such as yourself paying attention to what I have to say and how I write is a huge priviledge. It means alot to me.

Also, thank you for the compliment regarding my creative mind! I have not been super creative as of late but I feel a resurgence coming on!

I hope you are well and smiling.

Hi,

I like the a bunch of stuff about the video, colour scheme, hair and make up, mannequiny style, but I was disturbed by the guys voice and no back ground music, but maybe that was part of the effect. I like the music at the end though and the intro music.

It is good to see you and thank you for taking the time to comment.

This video is actually pretty profound on many different levels and part of what casuses the inflection and reflection is the eery voice that represents all four characters. I was quite happy to find this video especially at this current time. I am not sure yet if I am going to throw in my ten cents worth of thoughts yet but I do know that if I do I will be waiting until everyone gets their fair share of viewing time. I probably won't even post past it until Wednesday or Thursday.

I am glad you dug the music in the beginning and at the end. It reminded me alot of Lords of Acid and I know that you know who they are.

I hope you are well and smiling. Be good.

Godspeed.

~ By the way, I have really dug alot of the posts you have put up lately - especially the music that you and the kiddos listen to in the car!

Seven more days, RE!!

Tickets are being sold right now for the show at White River Ampetheater. I have a sinking feeling the good seats will be gone by the time payday rolls around....

I showed Katy some videos from back in the day, and she's wishing she lived in the 80s when you could still get close without security beating you up.

"pariah dogs and wandering mad men
barking at strangers and speaking in tongues
the ebb and flow of time and fortune
electrical changes are charging out the door

(chorus)
it's a far cry from the world we thought we'd inherit
it's a far cry from the way we thought we'd share it
you can almost feel the current flowing
you can almost see the circuits blowing

one day i feel i'm on top of the world
and the next it's falling in on me
i can get back on
i can get back on

one day i feel i'm ahead of the wheel
and the next its rollin over me
i can get back on
i can get back on

whirlwind life of the faith and betrayal
rise in anger fall back and repeat
slow degrees on the dark horizon
full moon rising looks ever at your feet

(chorus)

"solo"

(chorus2)
it's a far cry from the world we thought we'd inherit
you can almost see the serpent growing
you can almost feel the planets glowing

one day i feel i'm on top of the world
and the next it's falling in on me
i can get back on
i can get back on

one day i feel i'm ahead of the wheel
and the next its rollin over me
i can get back on
i can get back on

one day i fly through a crack in the sky
and the next its falling in on me
i can get back on
i can get back on

ohhhhhhhh
i can get back on
i can get back on"

From the comments, I see we are stirring the pot. But this girl has a full brain and short attention span right now so I will do what I do best....say hello and send hugs.

Life is hectic and my noodle is full of numbers and new stuff (yippppeeee). I'm learning about low-income housing on the investor side of things and having to teach as I go. Some pretty lucrative shit, man!

On the flip side, this company is pretty active in the community and I found (through a great friend) a local group that has mastered housing and energy for the homeless in Atlanta. Had a few chats with them and I really like they way they approach the need for shelter. check it out.....http://www.madhousers.org/

I am working to get the company focused on more grass roots and not just the causes that the industry as a whole volunteers with.

We shall see....makes the mundane number stuff and training a bit more rewarding.

I could keep going on but I have a cig to smoke, a drink to drink and some work to do. You have the number. Would love to chat, as I do better on that level than remembering to read and comment.

Have good................

I LOVE the video. Everything from the injection of Magritte to the overhead shots of Neil beating the hell out of those drums.

For some reason this song is unfamilair to me but I must admitt I have not listened to all of Rush either.

More clips, more comments, more posts, more fun. I have a clip for you that I am saving up for just the right time. I am hoping you haven't seen it yet, but knowing the topic and your humour you probably have already seen it.

Chanda -

Thank you for coming by. I know you are very busy lately and things are beyond hectic and by the sound of this comment it appears that it is even busier and more hectic than I initially thought.

I am not 'pot-stirring' as much as I am posting something that I found while searching for the sequel to Gorgeous Tiny Chicken Machine Show. There are many different interpretations of this video and none are intended to hurt anyone or stir anything. Above all, I thought it was a very creepy and funny clip.

I checked out the website that you listed and I am curious to know what kind of establishment Manuel's Tavern is. I have all sorts of images running through my head and would love to knwo what it is really like.

It appears as though you are doing some really good work with some very good people and that is imparitive to all of our existances. To recieve through giving is the biggest present to us from the Cosmos.

I hope you are getting enough rest and enjoying some time with Rob. Don't forget to breathe and enjoy the ride.

Be good and smile.

Godspeed.

Grandma Baba -

You will be the first person who gets to know the 'real' meaning of why I posted this, but first I would like to thank you for returning and commenting once again. It truly is a pleasure.

I initially found this clip while searching for something else and found it to be quite surreal and very funny. Then I realized that you could read so much into it depending on where you stood in life. It could be anti-women or pro-women, anti-shades of pink or pro shades of pink, anti-society and keeping up with the Jones' or pro, and on and on and on. I found it to be an interesting commentary on the Status Quo. This is where my idea spawned from.

So I took the clip and put it up with a few Latin words as the title. Funny that when I post Latin no one addresses or questions it. Either everyone knows Latin or no one cares, but the biggest clue was in the title (especially regarding where I stand on it all). I figured upon posting the clip I would create reaction that was all individual since I had not tainted the information presented with a preconcieved notion of how to view or why it was important to me. I ran kind of a mini sociology experiment of sorts much like they did in the 60's and 70's with fake jail cells or electric shocking test takers or group thought experiments where the subject responds wrong because everyone else is in order to fit in and belong. This was a very revealing test of where people stand in their minds and who they actually are. With honest answers and thoughts given as response to this clip you can easily find out who is really who and what they think of me shades that a bit as well. Then again, honesty is key to the results.

I hope this clears it up for everyone and elaborates for you. By the way, the title means 'Equal Universe' - the slant on it is that 'mundus' can also mean 'toilet' not just world or universe. Interesting huh?

Be well and smile.

Godspeed.

R.E. Knowlton III

I was thinking it was new but did not want to make an ass of myself. The reason that I began listening to Rush was that they were a HUGE influence for Les Claypool of Primus and I was a HUGE fan of his; it just made sense to listen to Rush.

I definately want to see pictures and if I could get up there you KNOW I would be going!

Speaking of pictures I have reactivated my other blog 'y b r' and plan on posting most of this crazy video stuff over there as well as things of a non-serious writing nature. I was hoping to maybe even start up some Photoshop Tennis - which is a blast. Ineed six or more people to play who can designated on of the blog spaces on their account to just the game. Spread the word and tell me if your interested.

If you can't find 'y b r' I have it listed in my fav's list or go to simplyybr.blogstream.com/

That was pretty close to the description a viewer gave it on YouTube so I guess you are not alone in that. I am obviously not the creator of the clip as I do not have the time or resources to produce something along those lines.

I do appreciate all of your stopping by lately as it is very reminiscient of last year when everyone was still green and commenting to each other like crazy.

I would like to let you know that I have 'y b r' up and running at simplyybr.blogstream.com./ and I will be posting more 'blog' type things and videos there and reserving this space for my serious writing of prose and essays. It should offer a pleasant contrast to the normal stuff found here. I am also trying to possibly start up some Photoshop Tennis there so if you are interested let me know there and try to spread the word around. Thank you.

I hope you are well and smiling.
