 Simplicity's Short but Sweet

I've travelled back to the topic of ILLEGALS.

This post will be very, very short and to the point.

During the rally marches here in L.A. the mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa, exclaimed, "We clean your toilets"

The key word is "we".

Go to: http://www.johnandkenshow.com/.

There is a link on this page to order, send, and ship a toilet brush to the mayor of L.A.

The cost works out to be around four and a half dollars with the shipping.

I suggest everyone make the point.

ILLEGAL immigrants are just that: ILLEGAL.

By the way, I want to thank everyone who has been reading and commenting. It really does mean alot to me and comments in the future are eagerly anticipated as always.

Hopefully I will be here tomorrow and posting on Friday. If you don't hear from me, I will be back in June. Be good and God speed ...

Bonus: Nuclear Nay-say Not Needing Narnia's Nuance: Nagasaki News?

TWO bonus posts on one day? Yes, yes my friend, I am a writing madman these days. It would appear that here on blogstream that the main Conservatives and the rationally debatable Liberals are gone. Some sort of Tsunami or government agency gathered them all up in the middle of March. I will do my best for right now to offer some sort of current event banter that, as always, is not censored. We wish you well: Moody, Boss Dan, Seth Ruffer and others. Ms. Kovar is barely posting these days as well. And where in the world is Mr. Furious? I guess all of the voices of fierce debate are in the world of Waldo. I am looking for striped shirts and pom-pom hats as we speak.

I am a little worried about this Iran "thing". It would appear rather innocent from a percentage point of view. Three percent is what is achieved, which is enough for power; the Halloween mask of peace is painted beautifully. They are no where near the 97% that is needed for weapons. Whew! I suppose I can breathe easy.

The President is saying that this weekends rhetoric about preventive nuclear attack is all hub bub and gossip. The Iranian's are saying they just want the power and technology for that power that the big nations of the world are privy to. Again we are at a juxtaposition of right and wrong; not right and left. If coal and oil were considered weapon components then maybe the world right now would be a different place. These are archaic weapons and we all know what a nuke can do; far more then a log, a briquette of coal, or a drum of oil.

I am quite sure someone will think Napalm, as far as the oil is concerned. Hey, Buddy napalm is nothing in comparison to Nagasaki!

What are our answers? What are we supposed to do? Do we regulate on our own or via the U.N.? Do we intervene with weapons of comparable strength? Do we close our eyes, put on the blinders and dance our way into the night, hoping that no one cuts in? What is right? What is left? What is wrong? What is correct?

This issue is not like Iraq or ILLEGAL immigrants or social security reform or welfare restraint. It is far, far more serious. I wrote a post not too long ago about nuclear threat and "Red Dawn". Maybe now is the time to have written it. The piece deserves some attention now.

I am not trying to be a Henny Penny. I do not think the sky is falling. I am concerned about the road presented for us to walk down. I see no pavement, no gravel. I do see a dirt path with lots of dust. We all might choke on this cloud and I honestly hope it is not one of Nuclear Winter. It was much easier to find solace in the build up of two nations of opposing views. This is much, much more serious. When reason is not even in the room that the table is in then we know there is no solution, just destruction.

Hopefully it doesn't happen tonight. I would really like to post tomorrow. Maybe Iran doesn't want me to. I will though damn it. Even if I have to tap it out in Morse Code, I will. Wednesday makes me jump, dump, and hump. Maybe you will be there ...

Bonus: Semen Seeing Sultry Sanctions Sans Sophistication

Duke, Duke, Duke, Duke of Earl. Is it not Gene Chandler. It is not Cypress Hill. It is not my middle name. It is the institution of higher learning. It is the "Duke" in question.

So much hatred and protests towards Duke. Did you see the pictures in Time? Little hippie angries in their little knit hats and holding their angry signs spouting liberation through owning up as opposed to lawyering up.

Lacrosse has always been an upper echelon sport. I know the American Indian natives came up with the game and that the name was christened by French trappers that had picked up the game recreationally. Because it is a stiff upper lip and turned up nose sport, should we automatically assume that that transgresses to criminal activity towards people who would be considered inferior by these "snobs" is acceptable. I think that is reverse racism. How easy is it to say that priveleged kids playing a priveleged sport are likely to attack a paid whore of less fortunate background? Pretty friggin' easy. Well, until DNA takes it's place on the stand.

Today we learn of the lack of DNA or semen. Not on the body. Not in the body. Not on the clothes. Not on the belongings. Who raped this girl? I find it funny that there was only a brief glance at the conflicting stories of racism that supposedly occurred in front of the abode that housed the party where the violently charged "event" happened. Where was the semen again?

I know, I know condoms right? Ok, I am an asshole. I am NOT pro rape. It is disgusting. But it is awfully easy to fling around that accusation. It is not always true, even in cases that it is considered fact. In this case, thank God for DNA.

Maybe this girl was raped by non ejaculating aliens and should contact George Nory or maybe L.A. mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. Either way I tend to think there is no pinning this on the LAX.

I can play Lacrosse. I have. I am not pro sports. I think the bastards on the Love Boat of the Vikings is a crime. I think rape is a crime. I think the event at Duke, in light of the current events, is wrongly turned and poised.

I know exactly what will happen. The NAACP will be running to defend this African American girl who was sexually assaulted by a crowd of Caucasions. They will not step up to defend lost labor in the ILLEGAL immigrant debate. But they will defend non sense as they always do and always will. How sad.

I thought I was done for the night but decided to weigh in on this subject as well. What are we thinking? What are we doing? Do individuals not understand that in a time of national observation and scrutinizing of our individual actions that normally would be passed over as tabloid end up becoming the face of our nation?

Until tomorrow's scrumdiddliumptious sacrifice. I rock on and rock out with the ferocity of lions and my semen is no where to be found ...

ILLEGAL Immigrants ILLEGALLY Interlope Indifferently: Will this Fiasco be Resolved?

"Indifferently" will be disputed. It is a reference to their attitude towards the law not anything else. Today is riddled with insanity. The definition of insanity is doing something over and over again expecting different results. Today is cuckoo. I have three points on this subject of silly today. If you want more out of this post read my previous posts on the same subject (Lewd and Lascivious Latitudes Lingering Long in Lies: Bonus Is As Bonus Does, Monday Make-up Make-out: Triple play, Trifecta, or Was it Just a Hat-Trick?, Bonus: Diatribe Deux; Dourly Dose Deservedly Damned Due Doom, Truancy, Trafalgar, Tumultuous Testaments: Where, oh Where, is that Bunny Trail?).

OK. I live in Southern California. I grew up in New England. I see and understand how this can be a crucial or non crucial  topic around the country depending on where you live. Someone living in Northern Maine is probably not interested as much with this debate as I am being just two hours North of the border. Two aside points made before the meat of today's meal:

Today was the funeral of a Deanza Middle School student named Anthony Soltero of Ontario, CA. He blew his brains out a couple weeks ago after a Vice Principal threatened detention, juvenile hall, and parental fiscal fines. It is all because of the opposition to this Middle School students apparent need to protest. It has nothing to do with mental illness, access to a gun, or family life. It is all because of the school authorities preservation of rules and laws that would prevent the 14 year old student from walking out of school in order to protest. The Vice Principal is the one to blame. We should hang that son of a bitch from the tallest tree and all have the opportunity to wack him like a pinata. Obviously the school authority gave him the gun and sent him home to an empty house with the ideas of jail for three years or a big gaping blood red hole gushing fluid. This is a real story. This is the media and lawyer slant on this. This is sad. But the religious overtones and cryptic mythology of the catholic church along with the fear factor ILLEGAL immigrants face combines to make for a new ILLEGAL immigrant martyr. Too bad Anthony was not ILLEGAL. Exploiting this story to get us to legalize something that is justifiably ILLEGAL is pathetic.

The other thing to focus on would be the ILLEGALs that we are actually prosecuting. I am limp on the facts to these two examples as I can not find a link to the story but I am sure it came from the Chicago Sun Times. We are not letting the Holle Orchestra from Britain into the country to perform for some dumb ass trivial reason. And we have found it ok to deport widows (who were legal upon marriage and having children) of the deceased from the 9/11 tragedy. What kind of world do we live in?

This brings us to today's festivities. March, march , marching on. No more Mexican flags. Latino leaders and radio personalities for the Latino community have made that clear. "Bring your American flags", they screamed to their listeners , over and over again. Cardinal Mahoney and L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa have made it clear that the ILLEGAL immigrant population is meant to be here and are more than welcome. Villaraigosa exclaimed, "We work hard and play by the rules". What rules? The rules that make most of the protesters ILLEGAL? Today in L.A. there is a march going on as I type this. It was meant to have seven speaking pulpit stops along the way. They had catchy names like religion, justice, prosperity and future. It seems that the "parade" route has become confused. With maps in hand the protesters are foregoing speaking stops such as future, prosperity and justice and moving on. The ironic part of all of this is that the misdirected protesters are moving South as opposed to North in their misguided fervor. If only they would really just go back South. I thought all of these desperate individuals seeking freedom and economic gain were familiar with maps and compass points after their long desert treks. It takes everything I have to not laugh out loud as I think about it.

You know who should be pissed about this more than anyone? The African American population. Most 18-30 year old black males are the ones that the jobs are being stolen from. Why is no one speaking up for that? Oh yeah they are still reeling in the years for the Tookie Williams execution. Let me see if I understand the fight for the NAACP. ILLEGAL immigrants: good; and convicted killer Tookie Williams: good. Seems like a whole lot of law breaking to me. I heard one Africna American participant of today's protest exclaim that Bush is the Anti-Christ. Does this woman live in a cave? Bush is for all of the ILLEGAL's becoming citizens via amnesty. Obviously she has her head in the sand.

The other point to make is that there are truly no indigenous people here in North America. Even American Indians came here from Africa and China across land bridges in the now Bering strait and across "kelp highways" that christened the coasts of our continents at on time or another. If "we are the people that belong here" is the fight then we all need a history and archeological lesson in regards to the progression of culture, society, and population. No one "belongs" here. I bet the dinosaurs are pissed we all took over. To T-Rex, we are all ILLEGAL. Rulings and possesion of war and law are why it is ours. Let Mexico try to come kick our ass in another war. It won't happen, so this is the war at hand. Bring it on. I am part native American and I have no gripe because non of us are really native. Try explaining that to Ward Churchill.

There is a quote going around the internet that might put this into true Presidential perspective seeing as our current President has brain mush in regards to this topic. G.W. this is what a great President said: "In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American…There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag… We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language… and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.” -Theodore Roosevelt 1907.

Well, I may be around long enough to see this issue out as my plans for departure have been pushed off. I am going to forgo tomorrow night's post and get back to my Mon-Wed-Fri schedule with some bonus posts to sprinkle in. Until my departure I will be here hoping for the departure of law breakers. As you all sigh and sulk I wait for Wednesday's post ...

Bonus: Ballgame, Ballroom, Bastille Day: If I Don't Do It and You Don't Need It Then I Want My Money Back!

I am not going to eat up alot of time with this one. I touched base on the subject in my last post with the sports team thing towards the end. Sports teams need a little bitch slap and I am here right now to briefly do so.

I come from a huge family of sports. My grandfather went to Michigan state full scholarship for basketball. My uncle played football for Virginia State. I have two aunts who played basketball at Yale and one is now a Assistant Head Coach for a predominant New England College and their women's basketball program. I played soccer and football and baseball. I finally settled on wrestling and did so for two and a half years in High School. I can not get into sports, especially team sports.

I would like to say in the defense of sports that I do think them sacred. I get very upset when frisbee, or poker, or ping pong is considered a sport. I also do not think speed walking is a sport or any other solo endeavor that has exercise, not athletic, prowess. Triatholon, biking, running these are solo sports that should not be discredited by underwater basket weaving.

I do however object whole heartedly with my tax dollars going to fund something that I won't participate in or somewhere that I will never go. G.W. Bush got his elite Rangers a new stadium built from tax dollars, increased the retail value of the team and got out with tons of moohlah to follow. I paid for part of this man's career and lifestyle.

Our now fab President is not the only one guilty. It happens from Minnesota to Boston, Chicago to Cinicinatti, and it will be happening here in L.A. soon as the area fights for it's "right" to have a Professional Football Team.

If I do watch sports it is more about drinking, eating, and socializing; it is not about the game. I like going to a game every now and then (like about once every five to eight years) and I like the experience of the old parks and the tradition more than I like the game or the eight dollar mixed drink in the neon girlie-girl cup. Rebuilding Fenway Park in order to boost revenue under the guise of updating and renovating is a farce and quite frankly offensive. Leave Fenway alone.

The twenty seven year proposed cost of the new park in Cincinatti is over one billion dollars. You better bet your bottom dollar that most of that is from the tax payers.

I will stop paying taxes entirely to the state of California if they do the same thing here for football.

It does not generate more revenue for the city. The money is spent on ten dollar hot dogs and seventy five dollar team shirts; not to mention those eight dollar programs. No one is going to mom and pop's pizza next door after dropping that kinda dime.

If you think any business in America is actually planning business meetings or conventions around where the best stadium is you need to empty the drool cup and take your medicine. They are not unless it is Super Bowl, Stanley Cup or World Series plus any of the play off games. Even when they do the money is going to the same places it would if the game were not in consideration. Restaurants, bars, hotel, and strip clubs.

I am sick and tired of tax dollars getting stripped from me to go towards things that honestly have no bearing on my existance. I know right now everyone could give some big long sports fan lecture as to why it is a good thing or a slap down from an economist telling me that it does benefit me from a regional point of view. Bah Hum Bug! It isn't. It won't.

People keep telling me that not having a cell phone is effecting my existence as well and I still don't have one and probably (hopefully) never will.

Play ball all you want. Hell, bet like demon fire on all the games. Sit in drool and puke and fritos and watch every game until you don't recognize your kids or your spouse. But don't make me pay for a place for to all go down in. Don't make me responsible for football in L.A.

You can find lot's about this subject if you google hard enough. I just thought I would rant about it ala opine and let someone else spew forth the facts. I am quite sure I will write about this again and I promise to throw out some of those facts when I do.

Some of you are old enough to remember what a promise means. Do you know what movie I stole that from though? Until tomorrow I will wah wah wah myself to sleep ...
